I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on the i9 10-core and new mobo (and new liquid cooling for my CPU :beli:). :lupe:

Then, I'll get one of the new Titans (once they come out). The new Titan should be fully capable of running at 4K (not to mention 5K) with just one card

I got the itch and have money to burn. :manny:

I'm only buying one new nvidia Titan though (probably :skip:). Sli is pretty much dead now (the last 3 AAA games I played didn't support it).

Still, justifying $1000 for a chip is hard (but it's the cheapest one with 40 lanes). I'll probably getting a new case too. The Phanteks Evolv RGB is good (and was voted the best case last year), but I need a bit better airflow. I might go back to my 750D or 900D (:hamster:)

i think he means stop being an intel hoe
I need those 40 lanes though. pcie lanes are important now with multiple cards. it's gotta be 16/16 gen 3 now to get the full power of nvidia cards. I know I said I'd only buy 1, but in realty....eh, probably 2

AMD ain't giving me 40 lanes, that 10-core i9 is the cheapest way to get it :manny:

im assuming u havent heard of amd threadripper. also, u wont get 40 lanes with the new intel 10 core cpu :mjlol: its 28 lanes breh

the real i9 processors that have up to 18 cores will support 44 lanes. but that shyt wont be available until late in the year or early next year.

amd threadripper supports 64 lanes and new 16 core cpu :wow:

Nevermind, the 7900x does support 44 lanes and has 10 cores

That's what I'll be buying soon :wow:

got 2 options

1060 or 1070

i can get the 6gb 1060 for $370 (canadian, so $285 usd)
or the 8gb 1070 for $570 CAD/$439 USD

Basically, which should i cop? i got a 4k tv i would like to play on and like to play the latest games @ 1080 60fps... not sure if theres any reason to spend $200 more.
