got 2 options

1060 or 1070

i can get the 6gb 1060 for $370 (canadian, so $285 usd)
or the 8gb 1070 for $570 CAD/$439 USD

Basically, which should i cop? i got a 4k tv i would like to play on and like to play the latest games @ 1080 60fps... not sure if theres any reason to spend $200 more.
The 1060 is lower than the Titan X (og) released. I'd get the 1070 and be more future proof. The 1070 is like having a Titan X for more than half off.

The 1070 will get you 1080/60 fps, all ultra for almost every game (some games just aren't well optimized, so there's that). But....at 1080p you should have no problem. Get the 1070 if you can afford it. One rule of PC gaming is buying the best GPU you can afford. The 1080ti would be ideal, but it's expensive and made for 1440p and 4K. The 1070 will give you what you need at 1080/60fps.

the 1070 is around 33% better. it can also do some® games in native 4k, and would generally be a better fit for your 4k set

@youngben does this interest you?

Edit: Flash sale on 3 1440p 25" Dell monitors too. Just make me an offer. I will only sell those 3 at a time though.

Got a technical question for you guys. So I got my pc up and running and got the keyboard and mouse in today. Come to find out this motherfukker got no Wi-Fi. It's an asus z270h with no Wi-Fi. I ordered a pci card from Amazon to install in it. But I was wondering if I can just connect an Ethernet cable to my xbox one and use that connection? My brother got his pc connected to the router and I'm not trying to run any more cable in the hallway. Or is that not possible and I should just be patient until Amazon delivers?

You should have everything corded anyway, but I can understand the tiresome wires. Just get a usb wifi adapter. I use that on my other machine and still pull down nearly 6mbps

If you have a laptop you're not using, you could use it to bridge a connection until Amazon delivers.

Officially making my first post from my new pc. :wow: Was a long time coming but proud that i was able to complete the project. Ran into some trouble with the network adaptor since my motherboard doesn't have wifi but finally got it to work. Now i just gotta learn the ins and outs of this machine and get the settings to how i want them. But I feel :blessed:
