Obsidian games are usually a bit rough, but the deep level of choice and consequence add to the replay factor and charm
Oh ok. Game is gonna flop. shyt looks outright bad...like it has no business being released.
Let's wait and seeLmaoooo, the game is gonna do numbers. First actual competition to FO4 from the team that created the best fallout in a decade .
You're way off the mark here
Let's wait and see
What prelaunch receptionIf you want. Pre launch reception is great and bethesda constantly sets records with subpar running and looking games
What prelaunch reception
From whomThe numerous glowing previews
From whom
I'm not saying there is one. My original post in this thread was referencing the first look at gameplay when the game looked very rough. My.opinion was in line with the consensus. I watched a preview earlier and I will say it does look more refined. I'm not sold yet though. I'll have to watch more previewsIGN and other mainstream outlets. Can you mind me a negative preview?

Yeah, it looks decent visually but it is a decent scope game done on a limited budget. I think the dialogue scenes look better than FO4 at least and it had way more depth. Similar to new Vegas, I see people overlooking the budget and shyt because of its depth.
Obsidians next game with MS budget should show their skills. If they could do this mainly independently, imagine them with a trillion dollar company vying for their own fallout behind them.
I could see them and inxile, the wasteland devs, working on something
They aren't making this game independently. The publisher is Private Division, which is owned by 2K Games.
"Private Division funds and publishes indie games developed by small to mid-sized studios."
It's bordering now because Microsoft bought them and have relegated staff to helping build the game but it was at first, a game they were developing wholly on their own. Private Division stepped in almost a year after development started and to my knowledge, they have only had a hand in the marketing, not development. Unlike MS
