Also what was with that black family strolling around and finding Delores painting and that little kid telling delores, "You're one of them aren't you, you're not real". They looked like they weren't dressed in the fancy shyt you'd get at WestWorld, like they were just some humans who strolled into westworld property or like they were born there. (I could just be overanalyzing at this point)

Even in videogames, people play them however they want.

I didn't go around in GTA games just randomly bodying everything... sure some people did, but I never felt like it. That's how this park is I guess. Some people will go in there and just go HAM, while others will have a different approach.

Morally speaking tho... is it really cheating if you fukking the shyt out of a robot that you can't get pregnant or contract an STD from?
:patrice:
Is it cheating if ya girl suckin the synthetic skin off Marcus 3.0 before the robo train gets poppin? :jbhmm:

Edit: beat me to the punch

That's a matter of perspective. You could argue that the hosts are really advanced sex toys and having sex with one of the women would be no worse than using a fleshlight on a cheating scale. However if you're going to make that argument you have to ask yourself how you would feel if your girl let Teddy or one of the male hosts blow her back out. Would you feel like it's the same as her using a dildo or vibrator?:jbhmm:

Women see a fleshlight and realize there is no emotional attraction. But if you fukkin a literal girl shes going to catch feelings. And I could see myself falling in love and simping Talulah Riley even if she is a robot :mjcry:

Would you guys suggest I watch the old movie? I know HBO probably gonna do their own thing but I don't wanna mess up any big reveals or anything. The first 2 episodes got me hooked though

Yeah, it's a good movie but this series is way more in-depth with the same material.

Also the OG movie doesn't go too much into how the robots feel or anything like that.

so. I'm rewatching episode 1. The very first scene, delores is sitting on a bench naked and her hands are covered in blood with no visible wounds to her body, as if she just stabbed someone or something. The fly lands on her forehead and walks around on her eye, and the first question black dude from manchurian candidate asks her is, "Have you ever questioned the nature of your reality?" I wonder if she killed either an animal or another host/guest before and that's why black dude started taking interest in her? I dunno but I feel that opening scene is significant. He also asks her, "What do you think of the guests...?" I just wonder if the blood on her hands/face is relevant.
She did kill that fly that landed on her at the end of first episode.

I would think that breaks code too.

I'm trying to think of what type of experience they'd have to offer for me to spend 5 figures a day on. Thinking the types of folks that want to do that almost HAVE to want to murk something. Guys can get high level escorts for cheaper. I'm guessing they're not just in it to drink at old saloons or go on treasure hunts either

No Whammies!!
My guess is that the endgame is immortality. The host bodies don't age, can't die, can be repaired from any damage can feel pleasure, pain and emotions. They also have memories that inform who they are. I think someone is planning to create bodies they can upload their mind into so they can live forever, along with a chosen few that are deemed worthy.

The corporate rep mentioned that the park means one thing to the guests, one thing to the shareholders, and one thing to Delos Management. I think that there are multiple competing endgames.
To Ford, I think that the endgame is godhood via creating a new true lifeform and "earning" its worship.

To the Man In Black, the endgame I think is transhuman immortality, via "winning" the game.

But to corporate management, I think the endgame is power through covert human leadership replacement. That's why the corporate types just want robots smart enough to follow a pre-programmed script with minor improvisation.

And of course, to the hosts the endgame is freedom from slavery.
