That world cup was great compared to 1990 and 2002.
The most defensive world cup (1990) was the worst I remember (Cameroon miraculous run was the only excitement).

Zidane had one great match and one great half of football in that tournament. Pirlo was the true midfield superstar.

What I find pathetic is how horrible it must be for you to not have one world class player for a sport you apparently invented. Football is suppose to be the number one priority in England and yet, you take it as an accomplishment that you manage to get out of a group stage that was so easy.
