As a football fan i take in to account the 3 major international trophies they've won over a 4 year period.

As a football fan i take in to account that USA were the only team to beat Spain in a knockout game since 2008.

This was a good tournament. Good football too. Italy/Germany in that tournament was a great match. Argentina/Germany as well. France/Spain, France/Brazil, Cronaldo winking.

The Portugal/Holland match was bad in terms of quality but the excitement was

Mexico vs Argentina was the best WC game that year.

man people don't realize how lucky they are to witness what Spain and FC Barcelone have been offering to the world these past few years.
even Brazil never impressed me like this

yeah but who have they beat? here the best team they bettered was a flaky portugal with a collection of centre-forwards bolton wouldnt take.

in 08 and 10 they beat an overrated germany. their best players are/were people like ozil, klose and podolski, players who havent excelled anywhere. people got carried away with these.

in 08 they took out a good form side in russia whos best players were all found out in the premier league, in 10 they beat a mediocre dutch side.

they are good but nobody else is turning up in a weak footballing era. spain and barcelona are the only geninuely good teams in the world.

Spain is the best team I've ever seen. I didn't see Pele's Brazil so I can't comment on them. But no team has dominated soccer like this current Spain team. Zidane's France teams won a lot of games, but they didn't dominate the games like this Spain squad.

Saying all of that. That Brazil team was probably better on the eye than Del Bosque's Spain. Truly brilliant in the final but kinda boring before ET against Portugal for most of the matches. Same way Ronaldinho's skills and runs where more entertaining to watch than Messi but Ronny never hit the consitency and numbers of Messi.

Roque Junior & Kleberson probably wouldn't get into any of Spain's squads over the last 4 years.

That was before the final b. That final performance is what everyone wanted to see. Possession stats not through the roof but incisive, dominant attacking display. I know Wenger was watching that game like
