shyts getting heated out here. Those shootings on Friday caught me off guard. 3 separate drive bys essentially from the same vehicle on the same strip. Man's just gonna stay local with my daughter all summer and keep it low key. Stay safe.

What's the job market there like? I have a couple of friends that moved there, but are doing the labour grind. However, they say it's not that bad, but the only thing they miss is there's much more to do here than there, but the trade off ofhaving a nice place to live makes it worth it.

Drove west to east a couple weeks ago. Been in NS for a few days now. Heard The Hip's Nautical Disaster on the radio while driving a couple times the last week

The selection was quick, the crew was picked in order
And those left in the water
Got kicked off our pant leg
And we headed for home

Then the dream ends when the phone rings
"You doing all right?"
He said, "It's out there most days and nights
But only a fool would complain"
Anyway, Susan, if you like
Our conversation is as faint a sound in my memory
As those fingernails scratching on my hull

shyt makes me cry lol

I don't understand how they say 11 million canadians qualify and the cut off is 38k for a 2 person household. Makes no sense.

also includes single individuals who make under 32k

11 million Canadians whose household income is $38,000 or less, and individuals who make $32,000 or less

its crazy when you think of it there are 31 million canadians over 18 and out of those 31 million 11 million are eligible for this
how the hell are they suriving

I earn 6 figures and my pay increases by an increment of 10K per year.

A drug addict and an adulterer created a $1 billion shortfall. Eat the rich(me!) We need higher taxes.

I grew up poor and lived in govt housing during my childhood

That same housing stock is used today but it hasn’t been renovated fully since the 1980s

It’s a shame what’s happened in Ontario since the early 90s
