brehs are unable to stop watching people who don't respect the culture willingly like adam22 and Vlad's content.
we give them control
whenever we talk about shyt happening to brehs the premise is always that it's outside our control when it isn't.
before genius there was ohhla also by a white man. he compiled and listed lyrics for years with not much challenge from anyone else online. then some trust fund babies made it a business. now say what you will but this wasn't an expensive venture, they capitalized on an idea. we can't be mad when people keep beating brothers to the business side of things especially in a situation like this where the barrier of entry is low cost. they didn't even get license and verification to list lyrics until they were up and running with it. then they switched from rap genius to genius after they had sold and it became another media company.
brehs are good at innovating and brain storming ideas but we get beat to business planning and entrepreneurship on those ideas. Black twitter makes the cook out a thing and white people have a clothing line and brand out in months.
outside of literally segregating the internet and culture this will keep happening. either brothers get to the punch first OR stop airing shyt out in public make them have to come to us on our terms and pay for access because what is happening right now is Black social media is an open brain trust and incubator for other peoples capitalistic benefit. from jewish kids making money off lyrics they don't own to K pop artists copying every sound and dance or a white girl watching a bunch of Black kids make dances on tik tok then making a career off them for herself.
tell me how to stop any of this short of beating them to the punch or blocking them from being voyeuristic towards us.

They just advised, shorter isolation period for fully vaxxed, basically less PCR testing offered to the public (you got symptoms, assume you have covid)
To me that sounds like they want to slowly move forward and we'll learn to live with Covid...and now they may want to go back to lockdowns and bans?

They're fukked. You have a shortage of medical staff, so you lower isolation time to get them back to work, but more and more are just getting sick. They want to keep the economy going, but this surge is spreading quicker. Its all a catch 22. Everything is reactionary and Ford will make an announcement to appease his base, then switch it less then a week later. As long as the politics are economy based, not health based, this is a revolving door of open and close... We need to say fukk the morons, fukk the economy, and fukk backward politics. Everything is wrong here. People standing outside in the cold for tests? You mean we couldn't distribute these better? They dropped the ball
The list of new restrictions expected to be announced for Ontario include:
- A temporary ban on indoor dining at bars, cafes and restaurants
- Closing gyms and personal care services like hair salons
- Capacity limits on retail stores
- Cancelling all concerts and ticketed events
- Limits on weddings, banquet halls and other social gatherings
- Lowering indoor gathering limits from 10 to 5 people, all fully vaccinated

Also teachers unions will regret the game they’re playing with public schooling sooner or later. They’re clearly hellbent on closing schools for political advantage and chaos they create in an election year. But people will remember this and one day, you’ll have people advocating for charter schools and vouchers to avoid this.
