I think location is crucial. Being able to walk outside to the grocery, local coffee shop, pharmacy, park, school, and to the subway station, without needing a car is very important to me.
The neighborhood I choose to reside must be walkable.

I live in the burbs and I can walk to walmart, freshco, shoppers, rexall, No frills, longos, mcdonalds, subway, pizza pizza, pizza hut, pizza nova, dominoes, pizzaville, popeyes, churchs chicke, tim hortons, all banks in under 10 min.
