I work on homes breh and we laugh about the price vs cost of homes all the time.

I see builds ground up and work on old home renovations too. the actual worth of a lot of these places is nowhere near their price. i can't logically in good faith buy anything in this city. I'm at the point where I don't want anything I don't build myself. the market is absurd.

A buddy of mine's mom just sold her small basic ass house out in the Durham Region for 1.3 mil

Normal sized house on a really small lot with basically a patch of grass for the front and backyard

When he told me what she got for it I almost fell over

You have to look out towards like boonie areas passed even Peterborough to find any sort of reasonably priced houses
