Some of those requirements are illegal and they only do it as a precaution but sadly ALOT of buildings do this as commonplace now :snoop:

I remember apartment hunting last year and some places wanted my most recent bank statement. I ain’t showing shyt besides my job offer letter and even that’s kinda crossing the line:hhh:

I wouldn't show but I kind of understand someone living paycheck to paycheck if they lost their job as a landlord you might be screwed while someone who has 50k savings in theb bank could still pay even though it's not a guarantee

time to take back the parks
Only if they have a better solution to help the homeless. I personally find it disgusting how we treat homeless people like…where will they go? Nobody wants to be homeless and once you’re there it’s very hard to recover. My brother became homeless after he picked up an assault conviction defending himself and couldn’t get a job after that and in many ways these homeless communities are what keep people alive and give them a chance. In my brother’s case, after bouncing around for four years he was finally housed…most aren’t so lucky.

Yup that's the thing, if you're homeless its better to be in the city where there are shelters, tourists, easy to walk around etc.
But in toronto the homeless are treated horrible.

I'm just saying refugees that just arrive get more help than homeless folks, government will put them up in hotels and give them money every month

lol omar khadr living a better life than us
Dude killed an american soldier and he got 10.5 million from the canadian government

Are you seriously saying he didn't deserve that money? Canada should be ashamed of how they handled that situation. He was a kid.

He took that deal like 95% of other people would to get out of Guantanamo

If the government did their job he wouldn't even have been there. He was used by his father and failed by his country (Canada)

Don’t refugees have a WHOLE condo building dedicated to them by CityPlace or sum?
