This card with all these matches ended up being like a two and a half match show, but people are making excuses and convincing themselves otherwise lol

Samoa Joe.

I'd have Shane purchase commercial time during Raw state that no one puts their hands on Shane McMahon and announce a bounty placed Brock's head. It'll get the fans talking about possibilities, it gets Brock a story, it adds something (back?) to Shane, you can let it linger for months, and most importantly the guy that steps up gets the automatic rub. The fans will obviously expect Joe first but it could be Goldberg. Want to add something o Baron Corbin? There u go. Braun Strowman? There u go. That's how you can salvage last night's bullshyt

How are the fans conditioned to "flippy stuff" and "finisher spamming" when the WWE "main event style" had been conditioned in them for like 3 decades :mjlol:?? That had been all the rage up until like 2013

???? I'm saying some fans have a hard time enjoying matches nowadays unless its the indy style of flips and moves spamming. Its why the Ambrose/Ziggler match is getting almost no praise and why workers like Reigns and The Club are underrated while Cena/AJ been inducing neckbeard gasms and smarks can't get enough of Rollins and Owens. What was hard to understand about that

Being contrarian for the sake of contrarian. Vince McMahon opened his mind up to smaller wrestlers, and those smaller wrestlers bring a more diverse moveset. That's bad?

The Cena/AJ match was more of a Cena thing than an AJ thing. AJ doesn't normally work matches like that while Cena has been wrestling that style since his US title run.

When did I say that was bad? :what: I like it and I enjoy it. But that's not the only way to wrestle

And lol @ me out of all posters being contrarian :mjlol: I just don't care enough about this shyt to bytch and moan about it incessantly. The wrestling on the PPV last night was fine, the booking was ass but WWE been trash at that for years, get over it :camby:

Just finished watching it.

- 12 man tag match was fun.
- Neville & Zayn going to be a team now? Match was nothing and seemed random.
- Didn't care about Sheamus/Cesaro either.
- Didn't pay much attention to Jeri-KO vs. Enzo/Ass but it seemed decent.
- Don't know what the fukk Sasha & Charlotte were trying to do in that corner, but it was a great match. Sasha needs to chill with trying to work a top-rope frankensteiner into every match. Always afraid she's going to kill herself.
- Miz/Crews sucked but Maryse is possibly the baddest in the E once again :whew:
- AJ/Cena was very good. Was that a face turn for AJ? Definitely the top guy on SD now, if now that company. I hope it's a face turn because no one wants to boo him. Seems that Cena, much like Malenko, maybe "going home" for a bit.
- Tag title match was lame. WWE crowds don't like Jon Stewart. :heh:
- Ambrose/Ziggler was average, like most Ambrose matches. Crowd seemed really deflated after AJ/Cena. Hoping Ziggler snaps and heels it up at some point.
- Women's tag match was not very good and no one cared about it. Seemed more like a "Divas era" match.
- Balor/Rollins was good. Glad to see they are going with Balor for now. I'm sure Seth will have it back in a few months though, but this looks good for NXT, too.
- If that wasn't a heel turn for Reigns, they continue to do some of the weirdest booking for a guy that they supposedly want to be the top face. I'd do a double turn at this point. Lana making granny panties sexy. :takedat:
- Brock/Orton was good in a "this guy is getting destroyed" kinda way. Blood really helped as well. I wonder if the TKO was the original finish or if Orton really got knocked out? That elbow was brutal and the pool of blood was kinda scary.

Overall, I thought the show was good because of two great matches (Sasha/Charlotte, Cena/Styles), one good match (Rollins/Balor) and Brock dismantling Orton, but I don't think Summerslam needs a 2-hour preshow with three matches and then an additional four hour main show on top of that.

I just watched the ppv.

  • Cena/AJ was the MOTN by far. Everything else was mediocre.
  • I have no idea why the hell they would have Rusev/Roman battle to a no contest on their 2nd biggest ppv of the year. I wonder if Rusev is one of the "rumored" talents popped for wellness.
  • Sasha is legit hurt :snoop:. Bae is going to have to tone down her moveset. I don't want her becoming the female Brandon Roy.
  • The new belt design f*cking sucks. I'm surprised they put the strap on Finn so early, I hope people don't turn on him ala Roman/Ryback because they were pushed so fast & hard (PAUSE).
  • Carmella should've stayed in NXT or put her back wit Enzo & Cass, because solo, she's VERY forgettable. Can't believe Nicki got the reaction she did, as a native NYer, that was embarrassing.
  • Brock really busted Orton open. That was a nasty gash, and rumor is homie did that on purpose because Orton botched something in the match. If that's true, Brock would have to get the beats backstage.
Will be live at Barclays tonight, not expecting much though.
