Can I say it was trash but a ppv we will remember for ages and it will have everyone tuning in this week?

That wtf ending between Brock/orton
Classic match between cena and styles
Finn becomes the first champ for a trash title

Entire thing is mad trash tho they know better.
did goldberg come through?
what happened at the lesnar/orton ending?

The booking was strange and underwhelming but people are bugging if they think the wrestling last night was subpar

Fans are so conditioned now to only enjoy flippy flips / spot fests / signature spams and matches that work at the Cena/AJ pace and never anything different. Only match I'll say I was actually let down by was Seth & Finn because I didn't want to see a slow methodical match between the two. Opener was a good heel control match, KO & Jericho are not having a bad match with anybody. Charlotte & Sasha was good as well but obviously marred by a controversial finish. Cena & Styles was MOTN, and Ambrose & Ziggler wrestled a surprisingly well flowing match with good psych. If Brock/Orton went the distance instead of only halfway I think fans would have been singing a different tune about it. I don't care what people say I still haven't lost intrigue in Lesnar or his style (although he could definitely switch it up sometimes), because he's a unicorn in this business as one of the few figures who blurs the ever thinner line between kayfabe and shoot. And the booked finish, while far from ideal because non-finishes never are, did its job and you'd be lying if you thought it wasn't interesting.

How do people not understand the finish of Brock/Orton? It was Brock regaining his aura that he had after destroying Cena that has been completely missing after getting bogged down with fluff for a while. What is confusing about Brock utterly decimating a dude and leaving him in a pool of blood just because he can?

Because if you're doing an MMA TKO finish, you don't halt the strikes, bring in a doctor, then let him jump back on him and hit him with further strikes to declare him the winner by TKO. That's a DQ in MMA. If you're gonna do it. Do it fukking properly.

We understand the finish, it's just stupid as hell. What aura is he regaining? He squashed Cena 2 years ago at Summerslam and been pretty invincible since. Just because Brock fought in UFC last month and UFC has stoppages doesn't mean it's a good finish for wrestling. Most real fights are boring as shyt.

How much more of his aura does he need to get back? And if you wanna do it from that perspective, then why end the second biggest PPV of the year on that confusing down note, especially when it adds nothing storyline wise and this dude Brock is gone till January?

He doesn't need to regain anything. A hyped up main event like this should have had a real finish instead of a TKO.

U can tell Jericho was pissed at that finish...thats a dope tag finisher though.

given a proper storyline JeriKo vs Dudleys would be dope but this wont happen...especially with the dudleys being anti table

How are the fans conditioned to "flippy stuff" and "finisher spamming" when the WWE "main event style" had been conditioned in them for like 3 decades :mjlol:?? That had been all the rage up until like 2013
