I officially hate watching live comedy. I'll go for the debauchery but if I devote all of my attention to one more comedy show I'm going to fukk an expensive pastry in a church.

he probably didn't want to steal any one your jokes. how's the booking going? I just had to ban my first comic. It was unpleasant but I can't lie, I laughed about it afterwards.

I got an offer last night to take the reigns on a successful monthly show at a cool room.

I'm starting to enjoy things like hosting, improv and podcasts as much as standup

so i got a question.

some other comics want to start an open mic show and have me host it. i said that i would be down to host it and see how it goes. however, the dude that is basically producing the show wants sort of force this co-host on me. i like this kid but i don't want to co host with him. for one, i don't want to split the money and secondly, i'm nervous about him fukking up because he's a new comic. he works hard but he's very moody and opinionated sometimes. part of me wants to just let him host that show but i really want to do this. i even said i'd do the first few for free because it's a brand new event and i know they might not have the cash.

i guess...given this situation. what would you do and how much would you charge per week to host? it's a dive bar with a PA but our event will bring in more business then they are currently gettin.

just hosted a 2 hour mic and put up 23 comics. plus time in between.

then did 45 minutes at another spot.

i ain't great yet but i'm putting in that work. my city shows so much love.

maaan the game chose me! what was i supposed to do? only thing i did wrong was make it possible. don't warrwwy.

12 hours ago i wouldnt have been able to tell you when the last time i bombed was, then last night i had 2 really unsatisfying sets that completely destroyed my confidence about this new material ive been doing all week and i got a show tonight and im worryed now
