You're chalked. :francis:

Panini was already terrible at redeeming them before this news. Now, they'll have zero motivation. Try to reach out to their trash ass customer support and get some type of replacement if you can.
They offered me a sparkle pack months ago but i shot that shyt down :dead:

Some of the posters on Blowout made some good posts about the Fanatics news. Seems inevitable that Panini will sell the NFL (the NFLPA is the ones who dipped) license to Fanatics early. It's tough to imagine the NFL having no licensed cards for an entire season.

The NFL and NFLPA have equity in Fanatics. When Panini sued Fanatics, it was like suing the NFL/NFLPA.

This episode reminded me that Fanatics has an exclusive contract with Wembanyama. He cannot sign any Panini cards. Fanatics would love to pump out Victor rookie cards. Wouldn't be surprised to see Fanatics turn up the pressure to get that done before the season starts in October.

Blowout took down all their pre-orders for NFL products (they all show out of stock now). If this news killed all Panini products, even if they were already in production, that would be nuts. They would have no choice but to sell if that's the case. They essentially already have a worthless license.

Hope NBA stuff gets produced for this season, that's probably gonna be next with them acquiring the licenses.

Mookie Betts is still crazy undervalued. I see a BGS 9.5/10 Bowman Chrome Gold Auto went for $11K in the latest PWCC Premier.

Even though the market has softened, there have been plenty of guys going much higher than that. Vladdy Jr. was going for $12K-19K earlier THIS year. Juan Soto has a $36K Gold from this March. Tatis Jr. was going for $30K-40K before he got popped for PEDs. Trout was $90K BEFORE the boom.

Got an offer for the first time in a while on one of my Lamar cards. Got offered $5,900. I know that's probably not terrible in the market right now, but I think I should just hold onto it for now.

I like that Panini’s been including autos from some fighters that might be obscure to newer UFC fans. Picked up the gold variants of Mark Kerr & Oleg Taktarov’s 1st autos.

Would like to see Murillo Bustamante, Maurice Smith, & Carlos Newton get official autos.

I’m sure this discussion has come up here in the past, but what are your takes on what qualifies as a “rookie card”?

For a lot vintage stuff; stamps, playing cards, matchbox covers, and etc. are the first “cards” released for athletes/entertainers. I’ll see them listed on TCDB, but should they be in consideration if they weren’t intentionally made to be a trading card?
