Sometimes you gotta take that L. A family member lost the fight at school, now your whole family tree almost got uprooted.
My credit union says that they can't increase my daily limit even for 24 hours as it's Visa that determines that. Dumb as hell.
I have little way of getting this card now. I might give cash to someone I know that has a high limit on their card and go that route.
I also message the seller that I would give him $9000 for the Lamar Jackson card, and then if he wants to sell me just a base card that I would give him $3500 for that on my credit card. Is the total and the being the same.

You could buy an eBay gift card to cover the difference.

However, this is something I just thought of. Do you think it would hurt me doing it that way because people will see that the Lamar Jackson card was purchased for $9500 instead of $12,500?
I did not realize gift cards were an option. I will try to buy those with my credit card and use my debit card for the rest.

Is there a way for the seller to prevent people from seeing how much the card went for? I will likely request that from him if possible. This isn't an auction, it's a best offer.

It's a long term hold for me, so I'm going to bit the bullet and do the two different transactions. I know it's not great for comps, and the seller even brought up how he didn't want to screw me over with that, but if I plan on holding for a while, I'll take my chances I guess.

Wow, I didn't know they had a limit. You really aren't able to use Paypal for the full amount? You should have your bank account linked to it so it's a direct transaction without the debit card.
I guess Paypal is having an issue with it. It doesn't tell me rejected or anything, but I worked it out with this seller. He's going to relist and I'm going to buy at a lower price. Not the ideal situation, but it's the only way I can see getting it done right now. And, I plan on holding onto it for years unless there is an offer of 2x or more in the coming year or two.
Deal is finished. Purchased another card (not to be shipped) for $3,500+tax and shipping. Then bought the Lamar for $9,000+tax and free shipping. Only way to really get it done in my situation. Definitely happy it went through, and this seller was great about everything, and very responsive.
