SteelCity just listed a Tommy Morrison gold ringside auto for $1k and a Roberto Duran one for $700

would buy both on site if the pricing was anything appropriate but holy shyt I saw the same Tommy auto go for $80 in auction a few months back

Might wait a bit and see if I can talk them down on the Duran cause I know it won’t be going anytime soon.

So, here's where I stand. I definitely want that Lamar card listed below.

I've obviously realized that I've absolutely overspent on some cards, especially back in the spring. Some were not as bad as others. I am considering selling some of them, even if it's at a loss to free up some cash. I don't think I am automatically going to take a loss on all of them as some have actually gone for similar prices recently, but these are the ones I'm looking to possibly sell.

2018 Select Field Level Silver Prizm Lamar Jackson ROOKIE #205 PSA 10 GEM MINT (Paid $1,213.88)

2017 Select Premier Level Patrick Mahomes II ROOKIE RC #103 PSA 10 GEM MINT (Paid $2,203.58)

2020 Prizm Jalen Hurts Auto RC #/49 Purple Power PRIZM 3 color RPA SSP Case Hit (Paid $765) (I think I got killed on this one. It was my first card I bought off Ebay. I might just hold onto it)

Patrick Mahomes 2019 Gold Optic /10 (I did not pay for this card. I got it out of a box break. I believe I could get a minimum of $1,000 for it)



I will likely get rid of my Jordan Love National Treasures Auto BGS 8.5. Might be a terrible time to sell on him, but some of these comprable cards are going way higher than I thought they would be..




Any advice or thoughts, other than what you guys have already said before, time and time again..

Wish you woulda grabbed that Lamar Gold Prizm when it was up for auction.

Some of those big box stores put up nice cards at obnoxious prices and never adjust or respond to messages. Hope you're able to work something out eventually.

I know the Herbert will definitely go for the most out of them. Looking at recent comps, I'd say a minimum of $2,500.

Two Mahomes Gold optics /10 went for about $1,600 and $1,700 recently. I'd be fine with that at this point if it gives me some cash to get the card I really want.

It's happening today. Putting in another offer for that Lamar Flawless card. Just cashed out about $14,000 from crypto today, so I'm going to make an offer.

Got rejected at $9,500, $10,000, and $11,500.

$12,000 was going to be my max offer, and that one went through, and I just have to await on a response.

Final offer was $12,500 which was accepted. A little more than I wanted to pay, but this is a long term hold for me.

Do you think a second MVP award would help the value of Lamar cards significantly, or not much as he's already a top QB?

I'm really just going to keep going this route, with the nicer cards, all graded PSA 10. Less cards to worry about, and it seems like the top cards hold value better.

Winning in the playoffs is his next barometer, especially since Mahomes has already won a title and been to another SB.
