I'd lean towards the regular base version, which is the green jersey. The white jersey is rarer but people in football tend to stick with the regular version from what I've seen.Any idea off the top of your head if the one with his white or green jersey is the more valuable? So much shyt to know.
If you were putting money into Hurts, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to hedge on both. I mean, if Hurts turns into a monster, perennial MVP type player, the variation would gain a lot more interest because fewer would be available and more people would want in on his cards.

I really wonder is paying $11,000 for this one on Ebay is a good deal. I'm leaning more and more towards, yes.
Any thought from anyone else? It went for $10,000 last year and has been listed for a while. I got rejected at $9,000.

Would you say I'm an idiot for spending $12,000 on this? It's such a beautiful card, and his cards have seemed to be going up.
A potential MVP season would be big, no?
If you feel good about it, go for it. Intuition works better on cards like this than past sales results. BINs tend to sit forever with these types of cards too until an auction comes out and flies past it.
I think I'm going to try and sell my Mahomes and a few other cards that are not graded to get some extra cash and make an offer.
I can do it, but I don't want to drop that kind of cash right now. Then again, I'll be annoyed if I don't and I see it going for $30,000 next year.
I haven't really seen the option, but can you combine different payment methods to make a purchase on Ebay?

Not that I know of. Only things I've seen is having money in Paypal or eBay gift card combined with a debit/credit card.
When I get home, I am going to put together some cards, and get ready to sell them. None of the PSA 10 cards I have, but just a bunch of other cards where I can get some extra money.
I'm definitely in the mindset of paying for premium cards, and having quality over quantity.
I have to believe a 1/3 PSA 10 Lamar Jackson rookie flawless will be worth a fair amount years down the road.

So, I was looking at recent sales on Ebay for the same Mahomes gold optic I have, and it looks like a raw one went for $1,700 and a PSA 8 went for $1,600.
Remembering what some of you were saying about the card not being centered, it's probably not worth getting graded? I'm thinking of selling it raw now, holding for a while, or sending it in to get graded. However, getting it graded when the near guarantee of it not being a PSA 10 does not seem worth it.

I've obviously realized that I've absolutely overspent on some cards, especially back in the spring. Some were not as bad as others. I am considering selling some of them, even if it's at a loss to free up some cash. I don't think I am automatically going to take a loss on all of them as some have actually gone for similar prices recently, but these are the ones I'm looking to possibly sell.

Patrick Mahomes 2019 Gold Optic /10 (I did not pay for this card. I got it out of a box break. I believe I could get a minimum of $1,000 for it)
I will likely get rid of my Jordan Love National Treasures Auto BGS 8.5. Might be a terrible time to sell on him, but some of these comprable cards are going way higher than I thought they would be.

.And, the love card was not a National Treasures card. No idea why I thought it was. That card is not nearly as good as I thought it was.
