Buynicecards is the dirty seller.
For what it's worth, the guy selling the Lamar supposedly sold it for $10K last year even though he still has it so that's probably his minimum, which is why it's been up so long.
There's some nice Contenders auctions going on for Lamar right now.
Yeah, that's what I figured as I saw on the PSA cert lookup that it went for that last year. Obviously, I don't blame him for holding onto it for no less. I might make one more offer for $8,500 as I just think the card looks beautiful, and I think Lamar can have an MVP type season still, and more in the future.

Got it. I've been reading on of the locked threads on BO about it. What does "bumping cards" mean in the card hobby? I tried to look for what it meant, but can't seem to find what it means.
Probably bumping the grade up. So either resubmitting hoping for a better grade or trimming and hoping it slips through for a better grade.

I have Griffey’s 1989 Upper Deck rookie card. Remember pulling it out of an $8 pack my grandmother bought me when that series first released. I was excited as hell

Would you say going through Goldin or PWCC would be better for some of these auctions? I guess I'm not THAT hesitant unless it's a really big card. I'm going to guess that people aren't wasting as much time doctoring smaller cards.
These scumbags doctor everything, big and small.
Goldin's been consistent in removing cards if there's evidence of trimming, patch swapping, etc. They pulled a LeBron RPA recently, which is a million dollar-plus card.
PWCC is sketchy with it. They've sent cards back to PSA/BGS for "review" and will re-list them, even when there's clear evidence of alteration. Some cards have been pulled and banned but they're hit or miss with it.
Avoid Heritage if there's any question about the card. They have zero integrity.
I really can't get over how bad Panini fukked up the basketball schedule. They still have 5-8 more releases scheduled for the 2020-21 season. Flawless is gonna be out during the All-Star break at this rate.
