For Ward to come back from such a position where he was after the first 2 rounds...

Ward's adaptability and improvised tactics...

He started out with a wrong approach/strategy cause Kovalev was sharper and faster than he expected and then he went on and made it a dog fight in the middle rounds to regain motion and tire out Kovalev and then at the end when Kovalev was already tired he could execute what he wanted to do on the first place

Kovalev's counters and speed in the first 4-5 rounds...

I understand that Kovalev is disappointed but that talk at the end about politics wasn't elegant or classy at all, he made it out like it would have been a wide win for him and that's far from the reality.
In Russia he would have won this but in Russia he would have also won it if Ward would have won easily otherwise so....

What's crazy is that Paulie gave Ward like 8 or 9 rounds. I didnt see the whole fight, only until around 5/6 and honestly, I had ward winning like 4/5 rounds in a row at one point.

He definitely won 6 rounds, but I am still torn on that 12th for some reason.

I will analyze a bit more tomorrow. I think people are praising all the body shots Ward landed in the fight, but ignored the body shots Kovalev was throwing in that 12th.
