Yes it does. The only way you score it 10-9 is if the other fighter really fukked him up outside of the knockdown.

He won six rounds in the row

at 5th round you can clearly see kovalev slowing down, he didn't have the same pop on his punches, ward was slipping his punches

and when he did land they had no of the effect they had in the first two rounds

It's a 12 round fight, it's war of attrition, that why boxing is a true sport it's a contest of will, and Kovalev was defeated in the 8th round, he was slouched on his fukking stool

yea around the 5th 6th rounds i started giving ward "underdog" rounds just because he was starting to be competitive after getting washed in the first half of the fight. i'll have to rewatch to see if ward actually won those close rounds or if i just gave them to him because he stopped getting his ass whupped.

Clearly people scoring it for kov only scored aggression like paulie was saying. Dre did more effective work by far. Kov was doing barely more than ineffective aggression. Rematch will be even more wide for ward since he'll be better acclimated to the weight and already figured out kkkov.
