at 5th round you can clearly see kovalev slowing down, he didn't have the same pop on his punches, ward was slipping his punches

and when he did land they had no of the effect they had in the first two rounds

It's a 12 round fight, it's war of attrition, that why boxing is a true sport it's a contest of will, and Kovalev was defeated in the 8th round, he was slouched on his fukking stool

Ward done a lot of good bodywork as well...... these casuals seem to think only head shots count

Yup, the body shot work won Ward this fight. He did a really great job of winning rounds by neutralizing Kovalev's power with those.

If they have a rematch, ward wont be as tight in the beginning and will win easier

Yea i thought Kovalev was doin his damn thing the first half of the fight but the way that cac judge was awarding everything to Kovalev and dismissing virtually anything Ward was doing in the early to mid rounds had me like
