Has anyone ran into an issue where your sound to your HTIB stop workings while connected to the TV?

The soundbar/sub still work as I can connect my phone (blue tooth) to it and listen to music. But it doesn't have any audio from the TV (direct in/arc).

Is it possible that my HDMI cable went bad or is it an issue with the TV?

Hard to say, but you always want to start with swapping cables, or where applicable, ports.

Finally dropped the coin for the dual SVSs…went with the PB1000 pros. Was browsing in Nebraska Furniture Mart and realized that they had the PBs in stock. Salesman matched the price of the dual setup online at SVS and I took them home right away. Had an old Klipsch Sub12 and moved it back downstairs to the living room with the surround setup there. Had to test it with Blade Runner 2049 intro….BRUH!!! CLEAN bass makes a world of difference! It’s smooth and still gives you that punch. I gotta further calibrate it and get the levels up to my liking, but duals is the shyt!

Fam.....that setup is CLEAN AF!!!! Before I even get to the subs, that textured 3D wall you got the screen on is slick!! Love the channel block signs on top of the a/v center (I like the grill/vented style on the front), along with the movie posters on the wall and the old school reel-to-reel projector model. I know you loving them dual PB's, they look great and give everything a nice symmetrical look , plus I know they even out the bass response compared to 1 sub. Nice work on that room.

Nothing changed in my setup except my ugly carpet is gone and now I have vinyl piece flooring throughout, place looks so much cleaner, had to re-calibrated the a/v system. I'm going to pick up 2 SVS PB2000 Pro's, move the existing 2 SB2000's into other rooms in my place. My 2 Velodyne 10-12VA's are slowly showing their age, they'll be leaving soon.

Thanks a lot, bruh! This room gets a lot of use from the wife and I…we look forward to the weekend movie binges. The only thing missing was that LFE. Still gonna do some room treatments and I gotta get some increased ventilation in there as the projector puts out some heat.
You’re upping the ante with those 2000 Pros, ain’t ya? That’s gonna sound sweet! Need to see pics of the updates you noted, bet it looks great!

Edit: just FYI: The block signs can be found on Etsy if you just search “Blockbuster sign”. The 3D texture panels are on Amazon. The 8mm projector can be found on eBay for as little as $30. This one actually is from the 1950’s and works perfectly…paid $40 for it.

Them 2 subs gonna have you rewatching every movie all over again! Check out the movie Hunter Killer for some insane bass extension. The Pro's keep calling me, I keep looking at the frequency response graph, there is literally no fall off down to 20hz compared to the SB's. I need to try them to satisfy my audio curiousity, lol. I will up some pics of the setup with the new flooring this weekend, so much nicer and easier to clean. Thanks for the info on the signs, and wall, and projector, I need to get some of that stuff.

Thanks, I seen that. I might make the cutoff, if not I'll pay the extra, I need them regardless, lol. That would be a real nice savings tho.

This is the rooms and setups with the new flooring, much cleaner look than the carpet for me. Living room has the same gear so far, had to put a cord strip down going into the hallway, use to run them under the carpet. PC/Office room has a new table, Dell monitor now sits on it own stand, new pc case, still gotta clean up some wiring. Master bedroom, I reorganized the a/v stand to fit the center channel and electronics it in, picked up another Nvidia Shield Pro for that setup. Lowered the wall mount and tv so it floats just above the glass.

Bruh! The flooring has totally transformed your spaces! The combination of the speakers and the flooring in the 1st and 3rd pics just looks super clean and very modern….very nice spaces on all counts. Have you noticed any acoustic changes now that you have hard surface flooring vs the carpet? More echos and such?

Thanks fam, I was geeked to get it done cause I knew how clean it would look. I did notice the bass resonates in different spots of the house now, listening position in the living room has a little more bottom end. Haven't notice much difference in the echos. I think once I get the 2 PB2000 Pro's its gonna be next level LFE for movies.
