Yeah that's the main reason I got it even though I'm wheelless at the moment. I especially want to try out Resident Evil too. VR seems like it would take horror games to the next level.

Finally got a PS5. Got the GOW Ragnarök bundle. Purchased Forbidden West as well. I can't wait to run RDR2, Days Gone, Ghost of Tsushima and TLOU 2 with the enhanced visuals.

Just setting expectations….

RDR2 hasn’t got a next gen update or patch, its still locked 30fps with the same resolution on next gen consoles. TLOU2 only has a patch for 60fps same with Days Gone, no graphical update.

Ghost of Tsushima’s directors cut has 60fps, better resolution, loading, dualsense, etc. still no graphical updates.

Best looking PS5 games are Demon’s Souls, Ratchet & Clank, Miles with Ray Tracing, Horizon, The Last of Us Part 1

Not much.

- The native version of PS5 incorporates improvements in the post-processing effects (greater number of particles, smoke ... etc)
- I recommend using Resolution mode on PS5. Its framerate stays at 60FPS most of the time.
- Some shadows have been improved. For example, trees on PS4 cast more shadow than they should, while on PS5 it is displayed more faithfully.
- However, the resolution of the shadows and their rendering distance have not improved.
- Textures, reflections, draw distance and anisotropic filtering have not undergone changes on PS5.
- Part of the foliage has been modified on PS5, specifically the grass. Light reflection and size has been improved in some areas.
- The loading screens on PS5 have disappeared. You don't need more than 2 seconds to start the game or use fast travel.
- One of the most notable improvements in PS5 is the inclusion of lip sync with Japanese voices.
