it’s “important” to me cuz I settled for a 1440p monitor to use with my rig/xbox series s…if I play GT7 on it tho I’d be limited to 1080p…prior to this, I wouldn’t have given a shyt about 1440p support and it seems like neither does sony lmao…they said the PS5 has the capability and it’s just a matter of unlocking the feature but they said they don’t feel pressed to do it until enough ppl request it

1440p is a surprisingly good compromise especially when on a smaller monitor (27”) that’s a little less than a foot away from my face …it somewhat adds to the immersion plus I don’t have to keep wheeling my rig back and forth in front of the TV (4K no OLED)…I got a whole bunch of first world problems I’m dealing with here
