Any brehs here with a mirrorless camera??

I have a Canon T5i and I thinking of selling it and buying one those instead.

Yeah I have the canon eos r, if all you care about is photos just get the RP as 4k is cropped on the RP

You can prob sell your t5i for like 200-250 then cop the RP and the converter

Just do it.

You can find used Canon RP’s for around $800 or less everywhere.

Canon RP is the best bang for the buck, only cons is the battery life and you need the grip or it feels weird in your hands.

What lenses do you use for weddings

35f2, 85 f1.8 , 50 1.8

nothing fancy like brehs here :heh:- bought the 35f2 for 300, 85 f1.8 for like 350, and the 50 1.8 for 220, also have a 24-105L in my bag but I hate zoom lenses. 90% of the time I'm shooting with the 35 and the other 10% the 35. Will probably upgrade my 35 and 85 to 1.4 by the end of the year.

this photo below is with the 85mm f1.8 does the job for me :yeshrug:

24-70 2.8 has saved my ass multiple times. Good enough for a quick port and then zoom out for a group pic.

That switch from 35 to 85 during events made me miss shots. Did you finally switch over from your ef lenses or nah?

weddings are exhausting!
any tips from anyone in here?

Don't do it :mjlol:

but nah honestly, eat before

Bring snacks

Backup camera

Have a list of ten shots you want to get

45 second rule I go by - never spend more than 45 seconds editing a photo.

Out of focus make it black and white

I shoot at 125 and up for shutter speeds

I remember when I first started doing weddings i would spend hours for like five days editing :mjlol:

Now same day just slap on a filter , crop and in a hour and a half I’m done all because I just try to take that second and take a better photo

With the 85 sometimes but rarely the 35

Many times I have two camera so don’t have to switch lenses

I just like primes better than zooms

And not yet but I have four weddings in the next week and a half going to use that money and get the 1.4 of the 35 and 85
