The Ad200pro is $50 off right now on B&H. I see they go for around $230 on eBay. Is this something relatively safe to by used or should you buy it brand new?
depends on who's the seller. But i'd probably just go brand new on one.

warranty plus the lithium battery built in will be brand new. Plus from most reviews I've read if it drops its never the same.
I'd also buy the silicone case from bhphoto and the extension
