I have a question for those who use tumblr...
How do I link my flickr photos to my tumblr directly? I've tried using the share options that are on flickr, but image quality isn't the same compared to when I just upload the same image directly to the page. Sharing also doesn't look as good as it does when I grab the HTML link from flickr and post it to tumblr that way either. Is it something with the theme that I'm using for this? I would prefer for the pics I'm using from flickr to be opened on their respective flickr pages with 1 click. Currently, they go to another page on tumblr, then they go to the basic tumblr pic viewer or whatever.

Are you guys shy about just snapping photos of people in public who are strangers or do you ask first.
I haven't taken many portraits of people in public that I don't know. I would assume the first thing they'll ask you is why you want to take their photo. So I mean, you can ask, but you'll look like a weirdo if you just say, "Well it's for my personal use".
It's not as creepy if you intend on letting them see them when you put them online somewhere.

i just snap photos, no asking. i prefer candid shots. broads like to wave at the camera or point. maybe one day i can get on the one NY photogs level...he likes to run up in peoples faces with big ass flashes and shoot all random.

Whats the explanation afterwards. He just looks at them with a straight face and walks away? In los angeles around certain areas, people are really different when they see a man walking around with a camera taking pictures. You could just say you're a freelance photographer and that you're just capturing images/people from within the city.
