You'll see that bigs are sliding across the ground 5-10 feet like Michael Jackson to get into the play when they clearly should have been beaten.
Running plays works because this only happens on ball, so brehs who have been running plays this whole time love it, but that's not a realistic representation of NBA basketball. Not every team is running plays constantly ad nauseum to get their guys open especially on mismatches. This game might as well be College Hoops 2K22 because that's what the game is right now.
