it is stupid tho, most ppl i know got drafted to the weak ass pistons. i had to force my way out of there

It was like 1 am and I didn’t feel like going through all the games tbh and I had already did the g-league on one other build.

I remember on 2k20, I got drafted by the magic and had to do too much heavy lifting to carry that team and they’d ALWAYS blow leads when I was on the bench…forced a trade to GS…night and fukking day…I understand why KD did it lmao…my assists went up too as nikkas knew how to make their shots…hate when you set a teammate up nicely and they blow an easy fukking layup

Bruh it’s so much more enjoyable man. Joel is dominant in the paint. Danny and Seth are money from 3 and Ben is a nice lob threat too.

as a PG in 2k21, I love playing on the clippers although it felt too easy at times…I’m on the pels now

It seems like if you go the main two routes ie college & g league and you play well you typically end up on the Pistons, Rockets or OKC.

the game is actually perfect... when you see the fastbreaks being broken and the from behind blocks by bigs
its actually the badges... they have it so close to great... they are using the badges as a bridge between stats and gameplay
but the chasedown and intimidator (whatever its now called menace or some shyt) is just not balanced right... so the bigs snap to you with the badge

you can see how intricate they got when you have badges for how far you gather from layups and dunks etc

the defense was overwhelming at first but without buying VC I'm sitting at 80 now
you can easily shake most defenders with a quick 1,2 and drive. It all depends on badges too, quick first step etc, tight handles.

I'm not even that great at 2k... I'm like average to above average as a player. Usually I play good D and I'm a 2 man... I'll spot up in the corner and do the garbage work. I cant dribble all crazy and shyt
if you want to see how good the game is choose brooklyn and just iso with harden... you'll see how easy it is for him to rock people to sleep. If you rock and boost out of the rock...it freezes the defender for a second and you can put him on your hip and finish

it makes sense for the game to be like this, you cant blow by random NBA players every single time like other games. You gotta rock them to sleep and then commit to a drive... its the badges now that give you that extra boost you need to do shyt
you cant even dribble fast unless you got quick chain

this is a good post actually, I decide to play with the nets and I was cooking with harden and Kyrie with ease, in terms of dribbling past players or blowbys

like it still required you picking your moments and making sure you shake the defender but it felt realistic

I do think it needs a slight tweak because on the other hand I had some trouble driving on George hill with Rose

I only play my nba offline, I’m enjoying it so far. there’s a lot of the same ol 2k bullshyt, but seems toned down this year. I can’t speak for my career or park. I let that shyt go a long time ago. They need to sell a variation of 2k that doesn’t include park/my career, and all that other shyt for half the price. I would cop it every year if they did that

Just played a game against the AI where I shot 21% from the field and the CPU shot 29%

Seriously considering just reinstalling 2K21.

I personally enjoy that. Makes every basket feel like it’s earned

haven’t copped since 2k20 but this shyt dope to me so far

the gameplay feels more fluid than it’s felt in years and the clunky shyt/goofy glitches have decreased significantly for the most part

i’m already in varsity in the online league and i play this shyt mad casually but i copped the day after it dropped on some impulse shyt, nikkas been sending me angry messages for being the Lakers every time i’m in tier 1
