If you need a cheap place that's cool, look at downtown or studio city/sherman oaks.

There are still black neighborhoods in LA. Carson, Inglewood, Baldwin Hills...the problem is, these are older blacks so you don't see black kids anymore.. All these schools is 90% Hispanic now

Wish I could afford Redondo Beach

Redondo beach is very conservative unless you're an athlete, I wouldn't live in the south bay or orange County

West 3rd Street/Harper. It's around the corner from the SLS and the Beverly Center. If you keep driving East you'll get to the Grove. And by god man... you definitely want to go to the Grove.

Why do people actually pay that much to live in LA/it's suburbs? What is the appeal of incredibly expensive housing, bumper to bumper traffic, and overcrowdedness? Dirt covered mountains, freezing cold beaches and tract housing developments really have people living in California paying those horrendously high taxes?
