Did they explain why Oliver is stuck in the astral plane?

This is just a guess but judging by his diving suit they were experimenting with sensory deprivation (like "Stranger Things", if you've seen that).

Old school sensory deprivation sometimes used diving suits. Anyway, they were probably experimenting trying to access the Astral Plane and he got stuck.

shyt is a lot clearer now. Shadow King been leeching off bruh since he was a child. The dog, Lenny, Benny, the angry boy, etc., have all been Shadow King hiding himself to David and manipulating his memories. So he was never really crazy




Thing is, how was other people able to see Lenny in the original mental hospital

She must've actually existed at some point.

I think the next episode is them in a world Shadow King created in their minds but technically they are in the house still.

Lenny did exist, because Syd apologized for killing her. Also David's doctor was snapping his fingers at her during therapy.

Lenny was real yeah, because Syd apologized for accidentally killing her when her and David switched bodies.

No, Oliver is Melanie Bird's husband. They were experimenting and he got stuck in the Astral Plane.

Not sure about the glass part, I haven't watched the new episode yet. Unless you mean something else.

One of the forms he takes is named King (the dog) and its an astral being that possessed Legion in the comics as well

That don't mean Lenny is real because: 1), she was David when it happened and 2) his sister can see Lenny, 3) Syd can saw the Shadow King in his actual self and 4) David can project other people.

My theory is when Syd was David and lost control of David's powers she pushed the Shadow King out. That's why when Lenny reappeared saying to David that he "killed" her....that really happened. The Shadow King is a parasite so, Syd temporarily pushed it out while as David.
