Just finished the 2nd ep, this clears up basically every confusing thing about the first ep. For me at least.

What's crazy is they showed pieces of ep 2 during ep 1, like kid David/adult David covering his eyes, "they world's angriest boy", the frog with the drugs, etc.

I don't know what the fukk that yellow....thing is....but it's creepy as fukk. Also I think Melanie Bird is wrong when she says he's not crazy, it's his power. He's crazy and it's his power.

As far as who his father is I don't really care right now. We know it's Professor X but that wasn't known until much later, so it wouldn't be him in the memories, anyway.

It could be the shadow king. Having him posses legion midway thru the season could be dope TV. Having the main character as the villain.

I'm not sure they'll ever use "real" characters from the comics because that makes this easier to place in a specific time line or story arc. They will probably make stand-in characters like Lenny.

Shadow King is a possibility but it's equally possible it's just an evil personality.

As far as Legion becoming the villain, when this was first announced they described it as "the 'Breaking Bad' of super hero stories". Although they might've just meant quality-wise.

We learned Syd is real, and Division 3 (bad guys) and the good guys discovered Legion when her/Legion body swapped and she lost control. How she appeared in his memories at the end of episode 1 to warn him to duck in the pool, it was Ptonomy (the memory guy). We learned how he got his body back, the effect is temporary. We learned why there was no record of Syd at the hospital (which we took as she doesn't exist), Division 3 is erasing all info on mutants....it's why they showed his psychiatrist (the black dude) all bloody, they killed him and stole the records.

I still don't think there is superhero fatigue and though I like the premise something about this show just isn't grabbing me.. Perhaps if this came out years ago but today there is just too much other stuff out there you don't need much effort to get into. Last cb series that got out of the gate this listlesssly was preacher and legion has no likeable characters like that

Gave the second episode a shot but sadly this just isn't for me, Half way through the second episode I just found myself not giving a fukk what happens to any character and the story just doesn't hold any interest for me, I guess my expectations of what the show would be was vastly different than what the show is.

Melanie has some kind of telepathic ability. Ptonomy has the power to enter and travel through memories. Syd is a body swapper although her powers might expand further. Carrie was the girl who was with Syd and Ptonomy at the pool and is most likely pyrokinetic.

And for the record, as of yet they are all real. But one of Legion's powers in the comics is to absorb psyches (often upon death), so eventually they could literally become a part of him, something that has already happened with Lenny.

Surprised to see so many people either not feeling this or confused

I think the first 2 episodes have been piff so far

If anything this show makes me want a xmen tv show

I always felt the xmen would be alot better as a tv show instead of movies

You can't really do alot of the xmen story arcs properly in 2 hours

I like that they are taking their time setting everything up.The viewers are basically learning new stuff as Legion learns and are confused about the same stuff he's confused about

I got high hopes for this and so far it hasn't disappointed at all
