Look, we had a lame duck coach with a questionable offense considering the personnel, no training camp, no point guard, and an injured Melo trying to play 2 positions at once early on. Lin came at the right time....we had no PG for so long, then all of a sudden we had a pretty good one and we
well off mostly wack teams. We had a losing streak WITH Lin running D'antoni's offense and didn't start winning again until he got canned. People seem to act like Lin never got injured and Melo and Chandler didn't have to drag us into the playoffs on their backs with Melo basically dominating everyone in his path. Lin was cleared to play in the playoffs but chose not to....I'm not going to say that was a bad decision business wise but that's not something a franchise player that the knicks are going to have to pay through the nose for would do. I'd like to keep lin of course but he's nothing to shed tears over if he walks.
