Yep, but him and his agent tried to play cute and scheme dolan. But he's being portrayed as a savior that we are letting walk. Please.

we've heard so many different stories about what really happened behind the scenes. we as fans should keep this entire story back to facts

is a team with Felton & Kidd more likely to take us to the promised land than a team with Lin & Kidd?

So what's the protocol for rooting for the BK Nets? I'm trying to find out if I need to turn in my Knicks jerseys in the case they don't sign Lin. WHAT THE fukk

This guy is the REAL reason we made the playoffs. Without him the whole season would've been a shyt show. He got everyone into the Knicks again. Biggest story in sports. Now we let him walk for NOTHING? Could've at least traded him for a draft pick or something. Maybe some sodas for the locker rooms, maybe? Instead the biggest story of the last season is going to walk. The 2nd biggest jersey seller will walk. I mean in the tickets, MSG viewership, brand recognition alone.

fukk it, I have options now. I'm keeping an eye on Nets tickets.

i don't see why not.

Felton is more experienced, knows how to run an effective P&R, is a tough player, plays D, has won a national title as a leader, runs the floor well enough, etc.

Getting Amare going is imperative, whether some think he's done or not, and I feel the combo of Kidd/Felton is more liable to make that happen.

How about the games melo won by himself ??? With Lin and stat hurt

he had JR and B. Diddy at that point tho. Lin beat teams with Bill Walker and Jared Jeffries in the starting lineup

can we stop downplaying the impressive things Lin did this season?

If the Knicks had the ability to drive Amare to the middle of nowhere and leave him for dead and get away with it...they would imo.

I'd say they're beyond pissed at what transpired last season and how he played. I dont think there's any confidence he gets back to being what he once was...and even then he was a flawed player.

Indeed...but we're stuck with him & his guaranteed/uninsured contract.

So, we have to get him going. He can still produce & showed that last season in spurts. However, we also can't deny the fact that his style of play is best suited by a facilitating PG. We have 2 now. :yeshrug:

gtfoh man. you'll be the same fan complaining in year 3 when the knicks are paying that luxury tax because you cant afford any seats in the garden... you guys thought getting a knicks ticket was expensive during linsanity, imagine in year 3 of that "ridiculous" contract.

Felton is better pick and roll player than Lin at this point and would probably mesh better with Amare and Melo. Lin runs a decent pick and roll but he's more of a drive and kick kind of player.

there's only two things you named that can't be applied to Lin. 1 means nothing the NBA and the other counts for very little.

Felton has only had one season better than what Lin did last year...and that was under D'Antoni who is no longer here. We can assume that Lin wouldn't be better than Felton this year, but over the next few years? :damn:

problem with lin potentially, besides not being worth $30 milliom, is the so called "tebow effect" as well. on a team with two egos already theres always the risk that a high profile, unproven player like lin creates mutiny on the team if things start going funny. with felton this is not a problem, theres no calls to let felton shoot more if melo goes on a cold streak, or anything like that.

end of the day we need a pg who is going to average 8-12 dimes a game, we dont need scoring at that position. lin was never going to give us 20 ppg, and his assist to turn over ratio would be a problem. felton is a better fit.
