Some financial analysts think Lin is worth around $80 million a year in merchandising/advertising to the Knicks.

I don't think Dolan is letting him go anywhere.

But if he goes out there and get cooked on the regular, that $80 mill is a pipe dream. I got love for the nikka and what he was able to do for those 4-5 memorable weeks. But I'm also a realist. You can't give that kind of bread to a cat who is still largely unproven.

I was waiting for him to just say they can't talk about it, but why deny a deal that's gonna happen?

Should I also deny when he involves Batum as part of the team's future as well?

I think he didn't want to speak on the knicks deal.. but yall have fun with all that cap space..:smugfavre:

Yo.... This is BS that Lin was just trying to get more money at the last minute, but wanted to play with the Knicks all along. If that was the case, he would have just thrown a couple more million on the first couple of years, or even just the second year. But ALL OF IT was piled on the third year, the specific year that would cause hell for the Knicks salary cap.

This dude went to Harvard... He knew what he was doing.

Nah, Lin can't make more that 5 million a year for the next 2 years. Gilbert Arenas Rule.

Evan Roberts trying too hard on WFAN.... Must be trying to hype up the Knicks fans and get them to call in so he doesn't have to work hard to fill up the time till 1:00.

I agree. He is feenin' to stir up some debate.

we're supposed to take advice on improving the Knicks from a diehard Nets' fan?

Yea, Joe's on vacation this week, so he needs to fill up the time.

Because last week he was questioning whether the Knicks should even match the initial offer. So, is he backpedaling now to get these corny "fans" (who admittedly didn't watch for 10 years) riled up?
