I'm craving fried chicken someone hook me up with a good keto recipe :damn:
You ain’t getting no good fried chicken recipe in this diet lifestyle. There no real alternative for flour. Almond and coconut flour just don’t react the same in the grease








These are the best alternatives. I just made sure they were extra crispy


Been frying chicken using unflavored protein powder, bout the closet I've gotten to tasting like fried chicken.

my doctor suggested I get on one cuz my sugar was a bit high...but I’m not following it strictly...I just cut down on rice and peas...and just eat baked chicken/broiled salmon w/ lots of veggies...I’ll cheat every now and then and have some fried wings but overall I have lost a decent amount of belly fat...I’m generally skinny but my stomach was looking shytty for a dude my size...I also eat eggs too (boil/fried) for breakfast w/ no bread/toast

Trust me but the ones sold online are typically nasty and waste of money. And they want you to pay a premium on them usually. Make your own.

Look up Keto snack/desert recipes. They usually taste better and you save money.


This dude right here provided me with of great recipe. He saved Keto for me with his ice cream recipes

Just don’t try an chocolate chip cookie recipe. Tried a lot of them and none of them come close to good. But snickerdoodles, peanut butter cookies and gingerbread snaps were all on point and taste just like the regular high carb version

Aldi has these cauliflower crackers that are so good. I had to stop buying them because I was eating the whole box in a day.

Ketogenic foods are just anything with low carbs.

I know you probably know what net carbs are but just in case say you eat a tin of beans the carbs on the tin say 30g but the fibre content is 20g, then the net carbs amount to 10g. So, as long as you read the ingredients and your macros for the day total 50g of net carbs then you'll be fine.

My diet everyday consists of eggs, tuna or berries in the morning and something with high protein grilled meat, med/high fat from any source (could be from animal fats or plant based) and high fibre (so beans/peas/avocados etc) for dinner.

You have to make it something that you can maintain as opposed to a "diet".

Last time i was in here posting in July i went balls deep into this diet. I went from 275 to 249 in one month right before my trip to DR, i was hitting up the gym as well 6-7 times a week doing 1hr30min-2 hr sessions. i felt strong healthy and full of energy.

:comeon: Fast forward 2020 im at 268 right now, i still got my strength from hitting up the gym here and there, not AS strong but i havent fully lost it. But i completely tossed this diet out the window and ate a shytload of carbs in the past 3 months and now im back at square one

Im a ramp this shyt up and im going to be posting in here just for motivation, so im going to let you guys know my routine and then ill be posting my keto meals everyday to keep this thing going

First off, i want to mention this isnt my first rodeo at losing weight. I grew up mostly skinny but then blew up over my early 20s. At my worst i was 315 lbs, but then i got into fitness and cooking at home and i dropped 90lbs in 7 months (4 years ago). I was 225lbs and best shape ive ever was, i was on High protein, moderate carb and low fat diet during that whole time. Thats just to say keto aint the only way but to me is the most effective diet ive ever done i lost 26lbs in one month with it.

Now the scale i use is called Renpho and it automatically connects via bluetooth to an app on your phone. You have to step on it barefoot so the sensors can read your measurements, from what ive read in the reviews its pretty accurate

So there it goes i put on almost 20lbs, most of it in the past 2 weeks from eating and drinking :mjlit:. But all thats going to change in 2020, :jawalrus:

Gym:
Sun- 1hr of Cardio on Elliptical or Treadmills + Abs
Mon- Chest/Biceps + Abs
Tues- Back/Triceps + Abs
Wed- Legs/Shoulders + Abs
Thur- Chest/Biceps + Abs
Fri- Back/Triceps + Abs
Sat- Legs/Shoulders + Abs

Very Simple but Effective in my personal experience. I hit every muscle group twice a week and I do Abs everyday because they are your smallest muscle and has the fastest recovery time. I only do a full Abs session on Sundays, Every other day i hit 2 diffrent ab workouts 4 sets each at the end of each workout. Also i use to do the one body part a day routine but i just feel like you see progress quicker by hitting 2 muscle groups a day

Before Every workout i do full body stretches for at least 15-20 minutes, also hanging from a pull up bar is great to fully stretch out your shoulders and arms. I hold on for as long as i can 4 sets of it. I drink a Gallon of water a day, absolutely no juice or soda. As far as Supplements im taking Multivitamins, Fish Oil, ECAA called Grunt during my workouts, and iforce Protean (25 g a scoop i take 2 daily after the gym)

Now the KETO diet. Im pairing this with Intermittent Fasting, i usually do 16hr fast and eat all my meals in a 8 hour window but ill be doing 18:6 this go around just to ramp it up. Im going to.also stay under 25g of carbs a day

Im on day 2 officially, i hit up the gym early in the week but slipped during new years eve n day. i fasted for like 16hr yesterday i was in the gym 14 hrs into it and broke my fast with the protean shake. Then this was my dinner

2 thin Ny steak strips cooked on a cast iron with thyme, garlic and kerrygold butter .Also a bit of olive oil in the beginning. 3 eggs with shredded cheddar and asiago cheese and cooked jalapenos (i was going for medium wrell but i definitely overcooked it.still good)

Its almost 5pm and ill be in my 18th hour fasting im going to have a meal and be at the gym by 6 or 7p for leg day. Lets get it brehs

Went to the gym today at the 16th hr of my fast it was lije 1pm. On my way i stopped at vitamin shoppe and got mct oil, i mixed it with coffee only since i wasnt home to add the kerrygold butter. I ran on the treadmill and hit abs hard . I ate a keto fat cookie with my protean shake at my 18th hour and then had this at 530p as my big meal of the day, im still full ima just stick to water rest of the day

2 burger patties (80% lean), bacon, topped with cheddar/gouda cheese, jalapenos garlic and red onions. And 3 eggs with spinach on the side

My breakfast at 12p earlier after a 18hr30 min fast. Its 230p i just pulled up to the gym hitting chest n biceps hard lets go

4 scrambled organic eggs with 3 sausage patties, cooked red onions, jalapenos, 2 minced garlic and cheese. I also add kerrygold butter midway thru cooking process

Calories: 1090
Protein:54 g
Fat: 93 g
Carbs: 6 g

3pc oven roasted chicken with skin from Dominican restaurant down the block, then i put together some mixed salad with creamy chipotle ranch just a bit i cooked the asparagus in olive oil, minced garlic black pepper n red pepper flakes.

:whew: workout was fukking great. This bulletproof coffee shyt really works wonders. Soon as i get home im having my protein shake with a peanut butter fat cookie..wait 2 hrs and i think im going to have just one giant meal instead of spreading two out ill see whats up
