I stopped Keto after I lost enough weight

Now I'm trying to lose more fat and gain more muscles
Any one of ya'll working out while on Keto?

Man that's the hardest part for me. I probably lift weights maybe twice a week now cuz my body just can't produce enough energy for more effort. I'm pretty much dragging my feet when I'm at the gym. I'm seeing results just off the diet alone, so it's not that necessary for me anyways.

Never had that "low energy" feeling tho

Well if you're trying to build muscle you need carbs. My workouts are pretty intense. Not no crazy CrossFit shyt, just lots of reps/sets.

I read in so many different articles 50g or less will work but 20g guarantees it

Its hard not going over 20g if you not earing home cooked meals

But damn alright time to zero in to 20g of carbs or less

But again did all the fat i eat in the past couple days was worthless bc my body wasnt burning it the way it was supposed to?
You should consider carb cycling; you been in Keto long enough now for your body to handle it. on the days you lift, eat a regular amount of carbs and protein for lifting and then on your rest days(or nonlifting cardio days) you resume your Keto diet/lifestyle.

That’s what I’m about to start doin or attempt to.


Look up and research carb cycling.

That’s what I’m about to start doin or attempt to.

I have, but I was gonna consider that after I reach my goal. It took me awhile just to get in the rhythm of keto, so I'm just gonna stick with it for now.

I feel you. That’s where I’m at too. I’m actually apprehensive about leaving the lifestyle but I have other bigger goals in mind. I was 213 in the beginning of the year and now I’m 168. I shed a lot of fat but my goal is to build a lot of muscle toward getting back to 175-180 lbs. I just don’t want to build a lot of fat in the process. I know I sound like a amateur but I really don’t ever want to get to the point I was earlier this year at 215 pounds.

It's officially been 30 days since I got back to keto and I've lost about 13-15 pounds (it fluctuates). shyt gets easier with time cuz I think my stomach shrunk and I'm no longer as hungry all the time as I used to be.

Well done, yeah the longer your in ketosis your gherlin (hunger) hormone reduces

Just dont go too crazy with the surplus, its really not needed TBH and plus it makes it longer to shred it.

Suprised, maybe cos Keto is my normal way of eating so I dont see it as diet
If it’s your normal way of eating, I assume you been doin Keto a long time. If so what’s your daily limit for carbs? I heard ppl who are well into the lifestyle, can actually eat 50 carbs daily and still be ok(in ketosis)

Ive been on keto since last monday, pairing it with intermment fasting and weight lifting 6x a week. Ive gone from 274 to 261. Not bad ima stick to it for another month i need to get back down to 225

I have notice a slight decrease in my strength
Im hitting my reps but i really have to push hard. Also alcohol on keto is a no-no. I drank about a pint of jameson which is nothing to me and i woke up tnrowing up hard. My tolerance has gotten extremely low so i might just cut it out or stick to 1-2 drinks

Things still Goin well. At 165, trying to get to 160 so I can slowly bulk up to 170-ish. Maybe 175 but my midsection and chest looks good. Was doin my cardio and One of the dudes was watching me and told me I have unseen abs. Just do more intense cardio. He said a month Of HITT and a good jump rope routine would have my ab shining through definitely by the end of the summer no later.

My girl starting to annoy me though. She Not supporting me but that’s cool. I don’t need her support but I also don’t need her trying to discourage me from bettering myself. I don’t know what her motive or reasoning is but it’s really starting to annoy me she basically want me to stop the Keto lifestyle( really months ago) and I guess eat undisciplined again.
