Wegmans got some good macros on their ready to go buffalo style chicken wings. You don’t usually get a lot of fat in chicken but their shyt. Said 24 gram of fat and only 20 protein for the family pack

Anybody else constantly have to pee on keto?? I'm guessing since there aren't enough carbs to hold water weight, water doesn't stick. Immediately after a cup of water in pissing it right out. shyt is crazy.
Def up your sodium, it'll help keep your electrolyte balance in check and it may help to retain some water.

What’s the benefit of water retention?
First is to ensure you have enough salt in your body. Though over-consumption of salt isn’t good, not having enough is bad as well. People who play a lot of cardio-heavy sports, or do a lot of running, lose a lot of salt via sweat, and it needs to be gained back. Salt is used in the body to retain water in cells, along with helping get nutrients from the small intestine, and if we don’t have enough salt in the body, your cells can’t retain enough water. This causes the cells to dehydrate.

Any of yall ever messed w/ Ketologie Keto Shakes?

Caught em sale and tried em out.

75% Fat, 19% Protein, the rest is Carbs/Fiber w/ 2% being net carbs, for a total of 300 Cals for 2 scoops.

Taste a lot better than I expected mixing it in just water (Strawberry).

Been a rough couple of days but I maintained ketosis. Don’t know how but it stuck. Had two really candied-pecan pork chops on Saturday with a quarter slab of bbq ribs:francis:.

Had fried chicken, a slice of cake and fruit salad on friday.

I’m glad the work week is bad, easier for me to eat clean for this diet.

Social life ain’t nothin but a reason for group of ppl to eat/drink.

I see I got to turn down some(maybe a lot ) social events this summer. Good thing is when I do go out, I’m so much more deliberate and decision at picking the right thing to eat off the menu. To eat like did and go from 169 on Friday night to 170 on Monday morning is some sort of consolation but I hate regression on any scale. A ppl on general don’t like to see you eat clean/good. They want you to go all out on food and drinks

It's officially been 30 days since I got back to keto and I've lost about 13-15 pounds (it fluctuates). shyt gets easier with time cuz I think my stomach shrunk and I'm no longer as hungry all the time as I used to be.

Question brehs im like on day 3 right now

The first 2 days i kept my carbs under 50g but my protein was higher than my fat count

Yesterday i managed 200g of fat and 180g of protein but my carbs were at 57g. Did all the fat i eat not burn at all yet bc my body isnt fully in ketosis (i know it takes a bit) and the day just go to waste with me putting on extra fat or did my body still use fat ive been eating for fuel? I also fast 16:8 and drink a gallon of water a day

Im 6'3 265lbs and VERY active in the gym im there for 2 hours lifting heavy 10-15 reps every set. Trying to get back to 220.

This is a total switch up for me. I use to keep my fats under 50g and have high protein count and carbs only before and after workouts but i see so many ppl with good results i have to try it

Breh 50 grams is still way too much carbs. Especially if you're just starting out. Maximum amount of carbs should be 20-25 grams.

I read in so many different articles 50g or less will work but 20g guarantees it

Its hard not going over 20g if you not earing home cooked meals

But damn alright time to zero in to 20g of carbs or less

But again did all the fat i eat in the past couple days was worthless bc my body wasnt burning it the way it was supposed to?

People wanna wild out, but little do they know shyt food and alcohol ain't really a good time in the long run. And also they encourage those around because they don't want to feel bad about their own bad habits.

I stopped Keto after I lost enough weight

Now I'm trying to lose more fat and gain more muscles
Any one of ya'll working out while on Keto?

50 grams all depends on how long you've been in ketosis. Like sometimes I go a little over 25g and I don't get knocked out of it. But I always make sure to get enough fats in first.

I wouldn't say it's worthless because it's still probably less than what you were used to. Your body's still adjusting. Just gotta take it even lower now.
