So here is a pic of my keto results so far. Pic on the left is last September, right from last week or so.


I fukked up my knee in January and didn't start keto until I could walk again in late February. Started going to the gym March 22nd and haven't missed a day since, even it's only a 30-35 minute workout. Last December I got on the scale and I was 298. I don't know what I weight when I got back to the gym but on April 1st I was 278. May 1st, I was 264. I'll find out what I weigh this Saturday because I only weight myself once a month to avoid becoming obsessed with the number on the scale.

The last 3 or 4 weeks I've unintentionally switched to one meal a day because I'm simply not hungry but I stick to a keto based meal or a lot of times it's just meat. Since I started back in February I've only had 4 cheat meals and 3 of those were popcorn when I went to the movies. My ultimate goal is to get back down between 190-200 and I'm pretty sure I'll do that later this year.

Can I get the recipe for this catfish? Looks good

Been back on keto the last 2 weeks plus doing intermittent fasting. Lost 8-10 lbs. Currently at 209. Trying to get to 180 the least.

When you set your target weight for Keto , I recommend when you get to within 5 lbs of your targets weight goal to switch back to a traditional weight loss diet for those last 5 pound because once you get off of Keto it’s like automatically you gain back 3 -5 pounds but the you straight. It’s probably water weight coming back.

So if you getting to 180, either get off of Keto at 185 and lose the last 5 pounds “regularly” or give yourself some leg room and do Keto to 175 pounds. I’m no expert but that’s just been my experience

I find myself having to pee every time I consume any liquid. shyt is annoying. The minute I drink a cup of anything I piss it out in about 10-15 mins

Was planning on doing a week of keto to give this weight loss a kick start.

On day 8 now, with good prepped for the next 3 days.

Decided to switch from Keto since I have been on since Jan to a low fat (about 50g) higher carb approach for a bit. I just at 16oz of chicken and 4 servings of white rice and I felt like I ate nothing. I was so hungry after my 8oz chicken 2 cup of rice meal, I ended up eating my next meal right after. I had to drink 16oz of water and another 16oz with psyllium husk to bloat myself to feel full. I will give this a week, if my hunger stays ravenous I am switching back.

What the benefit of a low fat, high carb diet? More fuel for workouts?

Just out of boredom really, been eating the same stuff since Jan. Felt like trying some old school bodybuilding stuff for a minute to see if I can get rid of some stubborn fat I have left while stay looking more full.

I can throw in some fruit that I want to eat. I started with 50c/30p/20f for now and will see how I respond before I go to 40/40/20 which was my initial choice. I will make more adjustments along the way using (Chris Aceto's) dieting strategies, if I can make it. Yesterday I did not have my meals prepared, so I ate more peanuts than I planned to (extra measured servings) and felt full af. Fats satiate me way more. I track macros, but try to plan meals a few days ahead of time in my app.

Yeah I said fukk it because i'll check everyday and worry myself. Im just enjoying how my clothes fit how much extra energy I have.

This, I got rid of my scales as I was addicted and kept checking every morning and would get annoyed that im not seeing a number I wanted.

But clothes were getting loose, needing new belts, feeling great and the biggest one is when people say you look much slimmer - nothing better than that feeling.

Scales are okay to a degree, but so many variables, how late did you eat, you been toilet, how much you drank, high sodium. At best check weekly or if your gonnna do daily then take the average.

Anybody else constantly have to pee on keto?? I'm guessing since there aren't enough carbs to hold water weight, water doesn't stick. Immediately after a cup of water in pissing it right out. shyt is crazy.

Yea, it was days 3 and 4 for me. its gone now.

I go more often than I used to before Keto, but no where near as bad as those 2 days.
