By the way, the whole Tory convo was such a let down.

Mal is a clown. Dude said if he was accussed of something like this, fukk what his lawuer says, he's making a statement. In other words, if you are facing 23 years, and you have a choice between following the advice of the person you are paying 100k+ for who has dealt with this type of shyt in court multiple times as a profession, who has studied this shyt in school and paid to learn this... vs following Mal's advice... He should do the latter

Then he said, when it comes to court, if you are innocent, you have nothing to worry about...

Either he's really in his feelings or he's simply not too bright. And i actually like Mal overall it's jist sometimes he lacks critical thinking /logic. At least with Joe you can tell he's playing devil's advocate or just straight up pandering sometimes.

EDIT: and then the next story they went into was Fivio getting arrested for beating his pregnant girlfriend. No talk of canceling him though... You can't make this shyt up...

That if you innocent you got nothing to worry about was some of the most stupid shyt I ever heard tho. Like nikkas dont get railroaded in court every day. Mal so out of touch from reality it's crazy. i think the lawyer was playing 3D chess on that one. Keep in mind, there are three other parties present during the incident. Tory's lawyer doesn't know who's gonna say what to the police, who could lie or tell the truth. Especially if for argument's sake we assume that Tory is not the shooter, that means someone else did. So they could all conspire against Tory for their own gain. Say he didn't shoot but there's no clear evidence he didn't do it, If Tory comes out the gate and says he's innocent, he's pretty much putting all his cards on the table and has closed any possibility of copping a plea to protect someone. In that case maybe they figured better to stay silent and see who makes a mistake first which Meg kinda dod by going on IG two times with contradictory info (saying she got shot in both feet, then it was one foot, then it was from behind in the dark...).

I'm reaching here but legally, he has nothing to gain by saying he's innocent. But Tory being an expressive person, if he had went on IG and said he's innocent, then people start replying, then imagine Tory in his feelings replying to the comments and fukking up his whole case... Better to just stay quiet.

You can put your podcast on every available digital audio service, but to my knowledge, none of them are paying YOU just because you have a good amount of listeners on their service. They are just listing it like every other podcast in the world that pays the provider the fee to host it.

You either generate income via ad revenue (live reads or digitally inserted), a donation/subscription model like Patreon or are paid to house your shyt exclusively on a service in the podcast space...again, to my knowledge and through my research.

But if the JBP is telling me that they are NOW going to begin building the process of proving their true worth by gathering the time spent user data across all podcast providers - after 5 years of the podcast being out with the last 2 being exclusively on Spotify - in effort to secure some major deal down the road...then wow, I’m lost.

I just want to know how he thinks he's gonna get his Spotify #'s from the OUTSIDE when he couldn't get that shyt from the inside
