The fact that this post went unanswered 2 days and 7 pages speaks volumes. Mentioning Sudan, Yemen, etc in a conversation about Palestinian genocide is just the "what about black-on-black crime/all lives matter" retort. Nothing but a shield to throw up to avoid talking about the problem at hand in good faith or to discredit a person speaking about a social cause that they're concerned about..

It's perfectly fine for someone to have a specific cause that they are worried about. I don't know any activist that speaks on every single issue that's going on. Was MLK somehow not genuine because he spoke on US civil rights and the war on Vietnam, but never talked about gender pay inequality?

If the claim is that you're outraged over genocide them why wouldn't you care about Sudan?

Just say you dont care and keep it moving. No need to invoke mlk or make a false equivalence.

The reason folks didn't answer is because he posted in the Sudan civil war back in April 2023. It just wasn't du jour enough on social media for him to care.
