What nations have felt their rage? Have they done anything besides steal information and overload webpages/shutdown websites?

No it's not. Many of the original Zionists weren't even all that religious. Guys like Arafat weren't either (damn it's been awhile since I studied this stuff). It comes down to this, both sides keep making maximalist demands and that's why nothing will ever get done. There's also "racism" involved as well.

But it's comes down to this, Palestinians keep demanding the right to return, and Israel is like :obamaword: and we demand that you acknowledge our right to exist, etc. That demand for the right to return is why they will never have peace.

I disagree. The Palestinians have put the full right of return on the table to be negotiated. Olmert and Abbas negotiated a small symbolic number of returnees for a determined amount of time

the Palestinians have made concessions on every concievable issue

There is no peace because Israel can afford not to make peace

It's been a few years since I was cramming all of this stuff into my head so you may be right. But how legitimate is that concession, why should Israel trust it?

Gaza about an hour ago
In a press conference in Ramallah, Palestinian Authority president Mahmoud Abbas said:

"We felt from the start the Israelis had a plan to undermine our people, and ultimately undermining the national agenda and our cause....There is no doubt that massacres have already started, and we have seen on our TV screens that young children have fallen dead."

"The escalation is at its peak, whether in Gaza or out of Gaza."

He went on to say he has talked with the United States and the European states "to urge them to do all in their power to avert the aggression on Gaza."

"We should bear in mind this is an aggression against the Palestinian people, and we should stand united. In these days we should exert maximum effort for national unity and reconciliation....Time is opportune. It is time for mending with our own fences."

"There is no doubt this aggression, in addition to the occupation in the West Bank, are all the same headlines that Israel is turning a blind eye to our rights and our endeavor to have our independent state established."

"We hope Israel understands that security cannot be established without peace....They must work towards ending the bloodshed, and being convinced that peace is a necessity."

"All what is going on is meant to prevent us from our endeavor with the UN."

Gaza 18 minutes ago
Israel on Friday evening sealed off all the main roads around the Gaza Strip, declaring them to be a closed military zone amid increasing signs that the Jewish state was readying for a ground offensive.

"There is a closed military zone in the area," a military spokesman told AFP, saying that road 232, route 10 and part of road 4 had been sealed off to all non-military traffic.

"These are the main routes around the Gaza Strip and they have been closed to traffic," he confirmed.

According to Al Jazeera's reporter on the ground, a recent airstrike in Mghazi refugee camp in the central area of Gaza kills 3 Palestinians and wounds several others, increasing the total death toll to 27.

In addition, the Palestinian factions released a statement following their closed-door meeting in Gaza City, in which they blamed Israel for the escalation. They also expressed their right to defend the Palestinian people, and that they had received offers from Arab and EU mediators to broker a ceasefire agreement but [the Palestinians factions] have refused.

Sami Abu Zuhri, the Hamas government spokesperson, said following the meeting that they did not take the offers to negotiate a truce with Israel seriously, as they think Israel is not interested in a truce at this stage.
