Green thumb brehdren, how should I fix this? I had a water leak and had to dig up the line with a back hoe. I tried liquid lawn but this is the result.

Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high
Question:

How would i go about getting a home improvement loan if i have little to no equity? I have a few projects i wanna do and looking at my onhand cash i doubt it will even cover 1/5 of what i wanna do.

I want to:
  • Modernize my 2 bathrooms
  • Knockdown a wall and destroy a coat closet between my kitchen and living room. Id use the space from the coat closet to build an island
  • Possibly move my "laundry space"

You don't. Credit cards are the only way. You better off just chillin, fixing what you can and saving for the project.

Do 1 per year.

I love my house. :blessed:

Don't go into debt to do those projects. Price each one out and save up. If you have a friend or family member that can do the work (or show you how) that will save a lot of money.

Make sure that wall you're looking to knock down isn't structurally necessary in order hold up your roof. That would suck if you found out after the fact:pachaha:

Take the projects on one at a time like others have said. Things have a way of coming together sooner than you realize if there's a plan set in place.

Just copped a Melnor 3900H sprinkler for the lawn along with a 150ft hose so it can reach all corners of my property.

Should have done it a long time ago, it isn't raining like it's suppose to here in the A.

How's it working for you?

I'ma have to try one like that too
First one came apart in 2 days. I believe in lemons so I re-ordered the same model and so far so good. They're so inexpensive I'm not sure if I should send back the first or fix it and just have two. A spring popped loose separating the sprinkler head and the base.

And I didn't break out the measuring tape but the claim of 50ft radius is kind of a stretch, imo. But definitely good coverage.

edit: We are in a drought here, and ive been watering when I can. My lawn (especially my back yard) is evolving from :flabbynsick: to:patrice:then :lupe: to:leon: right before my eyes:banderas:

WHen you're a first time homeowner they should drill these 2 rules into your head

  1. Stay the fukk out of Home Depot, Lowes, Ace Hardware, and all other home improvement stores. I swear every time i go in there to buy something that should cost me $10 max i wind up wondering around the aisles and finding other shyt i (think) i need and next thing you know im walking out with $200 worth of shyt
  2. Dont try to do too much too soon. It'll fukk up your budget. Dont try to do too much too soon. It'll fukk up your budget. Dont try to do too much too soon. It'll fukk up your budget
