Do you file a tax return? Was my original plan but my current landlord was/is buggin and made me not ever want to rent from someone unless necessary. I gotta be out of here by DEC. I have to run my business from home or a home because I have few adults under my care.
New plan is to buy a home then move out after I transfer it to a full grouphome.
I'm not require to do so.Do you file a tax return?
The question is how did it get in there?
Thank you. I've never heard of this before, I learned something new.
You're welcome. Dont worry, a lot of people, including lenders and underwriters, have had to go back and do more research when I tell them about it. Im awaiting more info from them tomorrow.Thank you. I've never heard of this before, I learned something new.
You have to get an appraisal to get a new mortgage. Unpermitted work could negatively effect the value of the home. A bank could turn you down as well. When you go to sell the home same issues.Yo...so I did a couple of unpermitted additions to my property.
Would that stop me from being able to re finance?
Will I get reported to the authorities?

I guess the big thing for me is this: I have plans of moving out of the country (Nigeria) in 18-24 months. While there, I'd prefer to throw my investments into Nigeria and see what's popping as far as opportunity. I feel a home leaves me with less flexibility.
True that. My rent now is very very cheap. Less than 15% of my net income. I know you can get homes for cheap but I'm not quite certain I'll be in this area for that much longer or at least it isn't my hope to set up shop here.
nikkas called your bluff. The seller blew up our deal over $400 in repairs. I offered them $3000 over the list price. The requested repairs to the home came to $1400 and they were only willing to do $1000. At first they said they'd do the $1400 but 3 days later they refused to sign the agreement and told me to take $400 off it. The house has some pretty good water damage to it so I just said either do what I asked or release me and my earnest money and they released me.
When the inspection turned up all that water damage I was gonna bail. My agent talked me down from it and said she'd get concessions. She tried and ultimately failed. I wasn't bluffing to begin with they lied to me and tried to play me. I'm not really looking to buy somebody's neglected project for over the listed price so I can be the sucker stuck with it so I let them blow it up.nikkas called your bluff.
might be for the best. keep looking
