Its really frustrating because the things that stop him from making another truly great album are so obvious. If I was managing him i'd be watching all the upcoming producers in the scene and getting maybe 2-3 of them to just do the whole project. Think about half an album or more of Clams Casino beats with Nas on top of them . And cos Clams is an upcoming producer I doubt he'd eat too much into the album budget if that was a problem.

And then you just need a breh to be like " Nasir, that bar is weak" or "why'd you put that line there breh? " or "how does that song fit in with the rest of the album, what are you trying to do with the album as a whole "


and then boom, status album


this is with me assuming that its that easy to make a great album though

Ran into the Asamoah Gyan at the Abu Dhabi Airport. Barely anyone even recognized him, breh is living the life out here making millions and living in obscurity. Chopped it up with him for a bit he's a cool dude. Looks like he made a decent career decision by fleeing and taking the $.

I'd like to hope Salaam is pretty meh to everyone. A striking lack of classics in his catalog. Not even like he can be credited with Amy's best songs either, as most of those are Ronson's.
