In all seriousness, Inter pose a legitimate threat. Three at the back is difficult for City sometimes, and Barella and Brozovic are class in the middle.

And it's cool to talk about FFP charges when United fans literally got a game postponed because they were protesting and the FA never charged or fined anyone over it.

Why were they protesting? Because they feel entitled to winning. They want shyt to be one way, but it's the other way. This is football now, enjoy it or go watch rugby.

did you just equate one game to a protracted campaign to cheat and cook the books over TEN YEARS ?

Asterisk treble.

I expect the FFP investigations to gain steam now.

Initially, City were just United's problem and people saw them as a nice break from SAF dominance. They were the people's champion.

They then grew it a PL problem when Chelsea, Liverpool (and now) Arsenal realised how hard it is to compete against the machine.

You better believe chairmen across Europe are now starting to pay more attention to City after humiliating both Bayern and Real Madrid.

YES

Because the FFP charges are an allegation. The United protest is something that actually happened and went unpunished.

The point here is we know who controls the FA and the charges are a reflection of that.
And they aren't all FFP charges. One of them is about the grass being a 1/2 inch too high

YES

Because the FFP charges are an allegation.

And if the allegation is false NOTHING will happen.

Your complaint only makes sense if you suspect that you will be punished.

And to preempt your babble/answer google due process, pre-facie evidence and in america the role of grand juries.

They are not baseless allegations against city.

:russ: yeah sure we do ..

And they aren't all FFP charges.

you are now employing "all 100 aren't murder charges your honour so why not let me free and forget about the 80 murders" argument

:mjlol:

Citeh appealed their last guilty verdict to the CAS (as allowed in FIFA regulations) and despite being guilty got off on a statute-of-limitations technicality.

"Stolen materials" whistle-blower materials (despite being true) were considered unfair.

-

This time citeh can also appeal to the law of the land if they feel that strongly about any guilty verdicts.

On the other hand city could just do things above board but they don't. And then they leave you with the impossible job of trying to defend what they do.

How do you defend offshore payments to players and managers?

How do you defend consultancy work payments through other channels?

How do you explain phantom sponsors.

All to disguise their true financial position.

It's like HSBC with their fishy business by virtue of operating in places where such things are tolerated and not reported on.

Fine, fair enough ! But don't complain when people point it out. You can't have it both ways.

their form is down to pep. look at PSG with similar tactics and money. even chelski didn't do what city are doing.
