That and having yet to find a reliable frontman weren't RdM's doing, although he did succesfully frustrate the midfield, but you can expect more from the champions of europe than to sneak a win away to a team with a mixed up cb pairing and uncommanding keeper via two set pieces. There's only one team in the world who would be liable to use this game as a marketing tool.

Not even City at home took the game to you like that. You were only really in the ascendency for a 10 minute period either side of half-time imo.
We don't have a reliable forward either. He scored a goal but he killed numerous counter-attacks with his rubbish first touch and fluffed a chance that could have seen us coasting at 2-0 before the half. At least you have options to rotate, we don't even have that.
Once our midfield starts gelling and developing patterns of play it's a wrap.

I do give credit for your midfield nullifying Arteta tho, but a lot of that had to do with Abou getting injured. If he is there, Diaby opens the game up for Arteta.
