i was about to post that seems to me a lot of you fans dont like change.

I'm fine with change but Marvel is being incredibly unsubtle with the swapping out of male characters for female versions. they are even doing it with Moon Boy & Devil Dinosaur.

You know if Marvel wanted to reboot the series on Netflix or a movie using Wesley Snipes..... This would be the best idea on how to do it while accommodating for his real life age. Plus not for nothing Blade hasn't really worked as a comic for a long time now. Something like this could rejuvenate it by adding the dynamics of blade teaching his daughter.

I like how they gave him the big ass sword and gave his daughter a more katana looking one.

I worry a lil about the art b/c i don't like how they drew her face and, like the cbr article implied, they're kinda going for a batgirl book type feel and look.. which is a style i never would've associated with blade.

But i'm cool with the father-daughter concept and i'm glad they're moving away from *just* vampires and expanding his rogue gallery while actually giving an introspective look at the character.

Disney killing it with the black excellence right now... but yea, i'ma need em to formally announce that BP solo tho..

If you got geeked at the sight of Marvel adopting the Jewel Runners’ salute for a couple of covers earlier this year, prepare to nerd the f*ck out. Marvel is again diving into the world of hip-hop on a new line called Hip-Hop Variants, which will feature covers that pay homage to some of the genre’s most iconic albums – and their artwork.

Uproxx was lucky enough to get a sneak peak at some of the tributes, which fans will be able to get their hands on in October. Below, take a look at a handful of the covers available, side-by-side with the album artwork that inspired them.

Alright, just read through about 90% of all the Civil War books via Marvel Unlimited. Man, that was a lame event. I was reading FF, Captain America, ASM and the main CW book at the time and was hoping by going back and reading most of the other books the event would have a lot more weight and feel more coherent.
