I think its extremely retarded that Marvel is killing off their 616 Universe. I really hope they ain't rebooting or else I am truely throwing Marvel to the bushes like I did DC. But it doesn't look that way.... As some of the characters remain unchanged like old man Captain America. I hope the only person that returns from the :scust: Universe aka the Ultimate Universe is Miles Morales and him only. Anyone else...:scust:

So far the only titles from Marvel I am excited about this coming fall is the Ultimates and the Squadron Supreme...

I expect/hope The Maker to cross over as well. He's the best villain to come out of the Ultimate Universe although I'm not sure I want to see anyone but Hickman or Ellis writing him.

Whats so bad about the Ultimate Universe?

Whats so bad??? No offense, but aren't you a comicbook reader? Everyone knows what bad about the Ultimate universe, besides the Spiderman and the Spiderman titles everything from the Ultimate universe is flipping cringe-worthy. It became a cesspool for writers to see what wild ideas they can explore with Marvel characters. Stuff like this became the norm for the ultimate universe.

Gross...:scust:

Does anyone want that crawling into the main universe?

I like that it seems like Vertigo is (slowly but surely) moving towards the types of books that have become commonplace at Image. It took them a while but I am digging the current books Vertigo releases and think most of these new ones look really cool.

It seems like you're basing your view of the whole universe on the worst run

I'll try a few of these out. The covers look appealing for most of them but I'll wait for the interiors to judge.

I will buy the Tom King book for sure though.

Every incarnation of The Ultimates was bullshyt. Every writer who got involved with the book seemed hellbent on nothing but shock value and showing how "nerd edgy" they could be.

Ultimate X-Men and Ultimate Fantastic Four were just boring.

The only Ultimate book to not suck was Spider-Man.

I disagree. Ultimates 1 and 2 were great and Ultimates by Hickman too

Ultimate X-Men was good under Bendis, Millar and BKV IMO

Ultimate FF was good under Millar, Bendis and Ellis.
